TVPills exists to answer the simple question: "What was that pill for?" Look up any advertised medication or supplement and find out what it treats, how it works, and its common side effects — all in everyday language.
What we cover
We track the most heavily advertised and most-searched prescription drugs and supplements across the United States, Canada, and New Zealand. For each product you'll find a clear explanation, the conditions it relates to, and helpful links to learn more or compare prices.
Editorial team and review process
TVPills Editorial Team is the organizational publishing identity responsible for maintaining this reference. It is not a physician, pharmacist, or medical-review board, and TVPills does not claim clinician review where none has occurred.
Our editorial checks focus on four things:
- Keeping product names, generic ingredients, manufacturers, countries, and condition categories consistent with the maintained TVPills catalog.
- Limiting drug-specific safety statements to the warning and side-effect information recorded for that product, with links to official label and approval databases for verification.
- Labeling supplement benefits as marketed claims and linking to general FDA, NIH ODS, and NCCIH guidance rather than presenting those links as product endorsements.
- Showing the date the reference catalog was last reviewed. This date is a publishing-freshness signal, not a claim that a clinician personally reviewed every page.
