Why we built this
Prescription drug and supplement ads are everywhere on television, but the ads rarely explain what a product actually does in plain language. TVPills exists to answer the simple question: "What was that pill for?" Look up any advertised medication or supplement and see its generic name, country and a short use, with links to official label references. It is a limited directory, not a complete safety, side-effect or dosing guide.
What we cover
We list prescription drugs and supplements seen in TV advertising across the United States, Canada, and New Zealand. Drug pages show the brand, generic name, country, a short use and label reference links. Supplement pages are brand directory listings; their ingredients and benefits are not reviewed. Partner referral links are shown separately and labeled.
Editorial team and review process
TVPills Editorial Team is the organizational publishing identity responsible for maintaining this reference. It is not a physician, pharmacist, or medical-review board, and TVPills does not claim clinician review where none has occurred.
Our editorial checks focus on four things:
- Keeping product names, generic ingredients, manufacturers, countries, and condition categories consistent with the maintained TVPills catalog.
- Not publishing drug safety, side-effect or dosing summaries; linking to official label databases instead.
- Listing supplements as brands only, without reviewing ingredients or benefit claims, and not presenting reference links as endorsements.
- Showing the date the reference catalog was last reviewed. This date is a publishing-freshness signal, not a claim that a clinician personally reviewed every page.
