Eylea

Eylea (aflibercept) is a prescription medication used to treat Wet macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease. An eye injection used to protect and improve vision in wet age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retina disease.

Blocks VEGF, a protein that causes abnormal, leaky blood vessels to grow in the back of the eye.

Commonly reported side effects of Eylea include Eye floaters, Eye pain, Increased eye pressure, Bleeding in the eye, and Rare serious eye infection. This is not a complete list — tell your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects you experience.
