Keytruda

Keytruda (pembrolizumab) is a prescription medication used to treat Multiple cancers. Keytruda is an immunotherapy agent approved in Canada for multiple cancer types including melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and many others. It works with the immune system to fight cancer.

Keytruda is a PD-1 checkpoint inhibitor. Many cancers evade the immune system by activating the PD-1 pathway. Keytruda blocks this pathway, allowing immune T-cells to recognize and destroy cancer cells.
