Nurofen

Nurofen (ibuprofen) is a prescription medication used to treat Pain relief, inflammation, fever. A heavily advertised ibuprofen brand in New Zealand for headaches, period pain, muscle pain, and fever.

An NSAID that blocks COX enzymes to reduce prostaglandins responsible for pain and inflammation.

Commonly reported side effects of Nurofen include Stomach upset, Heartburn, Nausea, Increased blood pressure, and Kidney problems long-term. This is not a complete list — tell your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects you experience.
