Paxlovid

Paxlovid (nirmatrelvir/ritonavir) is a prescription medication used to treat COVID-19 (mild to moderate). An oral antiviral taken early in COVID-19 to lower the risk of severe illness in higher-risk adults.

One drug blocks a viral enzyme the coronavirus needs to copy itself; the second helps it stay active longer.
