Spravato

Spravato (esketamine) is a prescription medication used to treat Treatment-resistant depression. A prescription nasal spray, given in a doctor's office, for adults with depression that has not responded to other antidepressants.

Derived from ketamine, it acts on NMDA receptors in the brain — a different pathway from standard antidepressants — to rapidly improve mood.
