Voltaren

Voltaren (diclofenac) is a prescription medication used to treat Arthritis, muscle pain, joint pain. Voltaren is an anti-inflammatory gel and oral medication widely advertised in New Zealand for relieving pain and inflammation from arthritis, muscle aches, and joint pain.

Voltaren inhibits cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes that produce prostaglandins — chemicals responsible for pain, swelling, and inflammation in the body.

Commonly reported side effects of Voltaren include Stomach upset, Heartburn, Skin irritation (topical), Increased blood pressure, and Kidney problems with long-term use. This is not a complete list — tell your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects you experience.
